Randstad is currently seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Radiologist Roster Coordinator for an immediate start to join a leading Radiology Services team located in South Bank. This is a 6-month parental leave cover with the strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.

About the Role

As the Radiologist Roster Coordinator, you will be the engine room of the department, ensuring that service coverage is achieved across multiple sites throughout the state. You will manage the schedules of up to 120 doctors, balancing subspecialty needs with complex leave requirements. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Complex Roster Management: Develop and maintain rosters for 120 radiologists, including on-call, and regional coverage.
• Leave Coordination: Managing the significant challenge of 10 weeks of annual leave per doctor, ensuring gaps are proactively resolved.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as a primary point of contact for senior medical staff, providing professional support to ensure doctors are placed at the right sites based on their specific skill sets.
• Systems Management: Utilising UKG (Kronos) to maintain accurate workforce data and process entitlements.
• Problem Solving: Responding rapidly to sick calls and emergencies to update rosters and maintain service delivery.

We are looking for a professional with high energy and a "customer service" approach to medical administration. To be successful, you will possess:

• Technical Expertise: Experience using UKG (Kronos) for workforce management.
• Industry Background: 1–2 years of experience in workforce planning or rostering, ideally within a healthcare environment.
• Communication Style: Confidence and professionalism in liaising with senior doctors, with the ability to build trust and maintain respectful relationships.
• Resilience: Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused when resolving sudden coverage gaps under pressure.
